On today's podcast episode I sat down with Michael Pakaluk, a professor of political economy in the Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, and a member of the Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas.

In his book, "Be Good Bankers, Michael attributes this phrase to Jesus in early Christian writings, though not found in the canonical Gospels. Pakaluk traces this saying back to early Christian thinkers like John Cassian and Saint Francis de Sales, interpreting it as a call for discernment and integrity in both spiritual and material dealings.
