On today's PoM Podcast I sat down with Tim Mulgrew, author of "The Book of Us."

Tim says there’s a quiet tension right now: more people are opening the Bible than we’ve seen in years—especially younger audiences—but many aren’t staying with it. Not because they don’t care, but because it’s not clicking. Tim thinks the issue isn’t discipline, knowledge or desire. He thinks it’s the framework we’ve been handed.

Tim's central argument is that we've been taught to read the Bible through a modern, Western lens—linear, analytical and verse-by-verse—when it was never written that way.
